Missouri Botanical Garden members support one of the world’s leading botanical gardens and our groundbreaking scientific and conservation work around the globe. These generous Garden supporters are plant protectors and enable us to provide nature, discovery, and delight for a million visitors a year across three unique sites.

Members at the Individual through Friends and Family levels receive an extra 10% off regular-priced purchases—for a total of 20% off! Members at the Festival level and higher who always receive 20% off get double punches on their punch card all week long.

Member Speaker Series: Holiday Decorating 
Tuesday, November 12 
Two sessions offered: 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Bayer Event Center 
Learn the latest tricks and trends to deck your halls inside and out for the holidays during this popular program. This year’s presenter will be Michael Schrader, Floral Director at Schnuck Markets, Inc., with pop-up shopping before and after each session. Free | registration required

Little Shop Around the Corner Member Open House 
Tuesday, November 12 | 10 a.m.–4 p.m. 
Stop by the Little Shop Around the Corner located near the Garden at 4474 Castleman Avenue for shopping and light refreshments, plus save an extra 20% off on top of your regular member discount.  
 

Garden Glow Member Preview 
Presented by Wells Fargo 
Friday, November 15 | 5–9:30 p.m. 
Kick off the holiday season during the exclusive members-only opening of Garden Glow. See two million lights and unique installations amid the Garden’s iconic locations. Enjoy a special opening visit from Santa, photo opportunities, live music, and the Holiday Flower and Train Show in Emerson Conservatory. Advance tickets recommended; Garden Glow admission rates apply.

Digging Deeper Member Tours

 

New for Member Appreciation Days this year, you are invited to take a tour of some of the Garden’s most special places and behind-the-scenes locations. Because of the limited capacity: 

  • Registration is limited to two people per member household. 
  • We ask that you register for only one tour during the week. 

All tours are $10 per person to attend. Advance registration is required, and space is limited.  
 

AVAILABLE TOURS

The Herbarium 
Wednesday, November 13 | 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  
The Garden's Herbarium is one of the largest in the world, containing over 7 million specimens of dried, preserved specimens of plants. Go behind the scenes of the Herbarium and learn how plants are collected, preserved, databased, stored, and used for research.

Shaw Nature Reserve 
Thursday, November 14 | 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  
Get an inside look at Shaw Nature Reserve as it nears its 100th anniversary in 2025. Meet the leaders of the Nature Reserve’s restoration, horticulture, and education teams to learn about their current projects.

Explore the history and highlights of the Stephen and Peter Sachs Museum, including the current exhibition, Kernels of Culture: Maize Around the World, with Museum Curator Nezka Pfeifer.

Garden Greenhouses

Join Derek Lyle, Nursery Senior Manager, for a behind-the-scenes look at our greenhouses located in the northwest corner of the Garden. Inside, our horticulturists care for thousands of plants used for display and research.

Saturday, November 16 | 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  
Join Library Director Doug Holland for a tour of one of the most comprehensive botanical libraries in the world, including the rare book collection.
